Its been great the 128gb version came setup with all the best games! I only needed to add 1 so far. I have been eyeing gameboy pocket color mods but they were pricey for what you get. I picked up the purple and it feels/looks amazing in person! Fits in my pocket nicely. The shipping experience went well too! I really like the quick shutdown+saving anywhere. This is the best way to play retro games while remaining pocketable.
This is the first handheld I have ever touched other than the switch. So, I don't really have anything to compare it to. : ) There are plenty of games already on the device and I don't think most folks would need to mess around much but I will probably install Knulli like I have seen Tech Dweeb use. I might have to try a horizontal handheld to see what I prefer.
So far I haven't found a use for the sticks so they might be less pro than the name would imply, ; ) (Tech Dweeb shout out), but I'm looking forward to trying the hdmi and bluetooth paired controller such as the xbox. Lots to explore. :)
