Thanks Litnxt!!
Top machine
On first impressions it appeared a nice handheld, comfortable with nice controls and a really nice screen. I got mine with a 64gb sd card, unfortunately the sd cards are of the poorest quality. After my first boot up of the console, games were no longer showing on screen. The only way i could play a game, was either by playing a recent game or a manual search which brought up a small selection of games. I cleaned the contacts on the sd card and they showed up again, but whether they appeared after that was sporadic. I felt it was inevitable it was going to fail. So i cloned the sd card onto a better quality sd card. The second problem lies in the operating system itself. It may have Retroarch but any alterations you make there, just change back to default, nothing can be changed. This can be a problem if you want to change a core because a games not playing, you cannot do it. On the likes of Mame or Finalburn Neo where changing cores is often a requirement to get a game running, this lack of that option, limits to what you'll be able to play. If these are issues that will bother you, i'd look elsewhere. If you just want a simple interface and change out the sd card asap. It's a decent handheld but not without its issues.
This is my very first Anbernic device and let me say… WOW! The RG477V is worth every penny. Quite fast sleek just pure AWESOMENESS!!!!
