This is a review of the Surwish card alone. I like the Brick, I don't like the Software. Brick is 4 Stars at this time because software is currently in Beta and stock is a disaster. The Surwish card is even more buggy version of Stock.
For the $40, you get a $18 SD card, all the BIOs, ROMS, and a better OS from Stock. Better doesn't mean great, but it does play games. I suggest you aquire your own Roms, Bios, SD card, and follow a guide to install MinUI at this time. Maybe updates to Crossmix will improve it, but currently it's too buggy to pay $40 for this. The LED settings don't even all work, basic stuff.
My problem is I expected this to be a curated and configured set of games, but a lot of these Roms are broken and clutter the OS. Systems included don't necessarily run well, and it runs on Retroarch so expect a convoluted setup process for each system and game that does run, it's not setup for you.
I bought the card for Surwish, I used the Roms and Bios to setup MinUI on a different SD card I paid much less for, and I don't plan to use Surwish until it is much more stable and customizable. It's currently quite obnoxious to use since you'll mostly be using Retroarch.
I wouldn't recommend it for the how easily the buttons pop out, the damaged state they arrived in, , and the mismatched plastic which feels cheap compared to the stock buttons.
I wanted to like these for the shape and feel, but the texture of the buttons is rough compared to the Brick. It's a scuffed up 3D print plastic, mine came with gashes in L2 and R1. The fit loosely compared to the OEM sets so I can't afford to carry the Brick in my pocket with these buttons or they will fall off as it pull the Brick from my pocket easily. I don't find them more comfortable or pocketable than any that came with it.
Expensive for what it is, installed with a huge bubbled in the corner. Find better alternatives elsewhere, do not recommend given it feels cheap and did not come with extras to retry. I'm going with a different product and I'll count this as a loss.
