We have been using his portable console for the passed two weeks and it has brought a bunch of good memories. All the games look great on its screen and I have not noticed any lag at all. The console feels great, ergonomics are just right. For those with bigger hands you can always use a blue tooth wireless remote. A really cool feature is the ability to plug it to your tv via hdmi. That adds a whole new level of fun. My kids have been enjoying it quite a bit. Preloaded games are all great classics. Got all the good features price is worth it. Would make a great gift for people of various ages.
Overall a great device, can't decide where to start. The screen is great, including the touch sensitivity. Games load great and the state save/load functionality is great. It uses all the mainstream software which it makes it easy use. WiFi, bluetooth, etc. seem to work great. Hours of play that make it great on trips and on flights. Size is good and this layout RG353P makes it easy to hold and play. SD cards are okay, but it is easy to copy the data card and the manufacturer provides firmware updates that are easy to download and install (I upgraded both cards to Samsungs). There are so many features that I have not even explored yet!
Plain good old fashion fun for the kids without the need for smartphone or internet access.
I'm happy and the kids are enjoying it. Win win.
